About Us
Bali Beach imports is a family owned and operated business specializing in the importing of quality Indonesian artefacts and garments. We have been operating since 1984 and since then have gained a reputation for supplying goods that are different, at prices that are almost as low as buying in Indonesia.
We now bring in a 40 foot container monthly, all of which comply with all current quarantine and customs requirements. We are the only importers to fumigate our products three times.
We buy every item personally, selecting goods that are unique and in many cases one offs. We take great pride in buying artefacts that are different, and will add to the ambience of the decor in our customer's homes or businesses. We have our own suppliers in Bali who we have been puchasing from for over 12 years now, and support around 50 families and their villages. Some suppliers work directly for us and no one else.
We have three buyers who are experienced in all facets of design, and with differing tastes assure that there is an item for every customer at a price they can afford. Many of the items that you will see at one of our sales are well under half the price that other retailers charge. Our jewelry, for example, is the latest design and in most cases 50% to 80% cheaper than the same product sold elsewhere.
Bali Beach Imports no longer wholesales to the retail trade. We have found that with our cash and carry sales the retail prices are usually some 15% under wholesale price to the trade. With wholesaling to the public, there are no holding costs, no bad accounts, no credit issues and no packing and forwarding. This results in our low prices being passed on direct to the public. Everyone is happy. We set our prices to a mathematical formula...we buy the goods for 'x' and we sell them for'y'.Any fluctuatons in the Australian dollar are passed on directly to the public.
With Indonesian staff who are extremely reliable and efficient we can pass on the additional savings we are able to make to our customers. As retailers we understand the need to supply customers' demands at the best price possible. You will not be disappointed at a Bali Beach Imports sale!
Over the past 15 years we have been operating in the Perth metro area at most of the more progressive shopping centres, including Bunbury.
While we prefer to run our sales from malls, we have increasingly had to operate from shops as mall promotion courts have given way to coffee shops and juice bars and the more practical utilisation of those areas by centre managements.
