Return to the Bali Guide

Located in Jl Sahedewa, opposite Billy's and adjacent to Legend, this restaurant is fairly new and is owned and operated by Australians.

Initially, the restaurant had a good feel to it and had good atmosphere, with good food and service.

Over the last few months, it seems to have fallen into the same pattern that many restaurants in Bali end up with...they cater mainly for the gay crowd now, having taken on the old Hulu's mantle with gay stage shows late at night, and you could be forgiven thinking that this is all they are interested in.

The stage shows are a bit tired and while they attract curious tourists late at night, it seems to be a pickup joint for gays.

Service has dropped off, food quality is no different than many so so restaurants in Bali, and they have joined the other nearby restaurants in a fight to see who's band is the loudest, not always to the comfort of customers.

Originally was different to the others, but now is the same...

Prices are reasonable for what you get, but its a bit ho hum, and nothing special any more.

Can recommend for a meal and go, early in the night unless you want to see some pretty ordinary entertainment, but little to rave about.
