Return to the Bali Guide

Located in Jl melasti, this place has been there since the 80's, although recently renovated and managed.

Hard to recommend any more...once the centre of nightlife in Melasti Street, now it has become tired, despite the renovations..tired with no new ideas or entertainment.

Had 2 very poor meals there recently, meat was off, and while we have supported this place over the years, mostly as a result of the great nights they used to have there, progress has passed them by.(there was no discount for food that was off!..they still expect you to pay for their bad food!)

Beer is often force chilled with the result that as soon as the bottle is opened, it froths up all over the top and isn't chilled right through.

There is no reason why this bar is not patronised other than there is no supervision or co ordinated management by the owners.

Bands are reasonable, although the food is ordinary.Theme nights are poorly attended, which says a lot for the management.Staff are friendly and service is good..their product is just poor.

Hard to recommend...little future for this place that has had so much money spent on it and has little to show for it.

The rating of 2 is probably high, but 1 is too low.
