Located in Poppies 11 Lane, this place has recently been renovated, not to any great improvement.

Gone are the good old days of sand floor, seedy pool table areas, surf movies and atmosphere.

They play the same surf movie...Endless Summer 11, over and over, the pool tables, that you pay 5000 a game for, are below standard..the cues have no tips and you have to share!

Mostly empty at night and why dont they get the message?

It is either a surfer's bar or its not...there is little atmosphere now, and staff are always busy doing something so you have to get their attention.

Must be a huge disappointment to new owners as the location is fine, it has a great reputation that has now been lost by ineffectual management, and really needs to pick up its game.

The old place was far better and more popular...

Food is ordinary, beer is cold.

Service is poor, altho staff are friendly, just lost.

Its just become tired and the renovations were made without reflection on this place's history.

Cannot recommend at this stage.
